Good Afternoon Chapter Leaders!
I'm not sure which are faster - my weekends or my weeks.
I'm looking for ways to slow time down.
Anyone have suggestions?

Bring Me to Your Community
For the last couple of weeks I've been talking about a tour for this fall:
The Lazy Leader Transforms America - One Volunteer at a Time.
Here's the big picture:
10 weeks, 30 cities, 5,000 leaders trained in 2-hour programs for 100+ leaders.
In public events hosted by 3-4 local chapters or nonprofits.
My speaking fee waived.
This is your opportunity to possibly bring me to your hometown to work with your local leaders.
I've got a ton of details to work out.
As Playground members, I want to give you the advance scoop.
If you think your chapter may want to help host a program, you can start looking for your other partners.

It's the pie in the sky wishing version but the details relevant to chapters will hold.
We are moving back the time table for hosts to apply. Think end of May.
We plan to work a cool word of mouth and social media campaign. Work the media relations. Also find new ways to attract sponsors.
You are invited to help out and play with us any way you want.
But I'm getting ahead of myself - can you tell I'm spinning with energy?
For now, just know this is coming.
Also if you have additional feedback once you look at the PPT, please let me know.
This is going to be an American effort...no one has all the answers - and we are going to create magic together!

What makes your chapter special?
Why do or should member spend their time and money with you - instead of another group?
As a leader, you need to know what your chapter's defining difference is.
You need to weave it into all you do - and help members make the connection.
Next Tuesday, join me to learn what a defining difference is - and how you can use it to your advantage.

The Secret to Creating a Bevy of Loyal Members
Have you heard loyalty is dead?
Members just don't do that anymore?
My friend Mary Jane Mapes of The Aligned Leader Institute says it isn't true.
In fact, she's going to join me on May 14th to talk about specific things you can do to increase the loyalty factor in your chapter.
And as you know, increasing loyalty is a great way to increase retention.
